Why is my hourly contract payment still pending on my Transaction History?

The main reason a payment remains pending is because the oDesk finance system has not processed it yet. Also, your client may not have verified their payment method. If this is the case, you would have received a notification of that at the time of the hire.

In addition, it takes up to 24 hours to process a payment issued by the client. You will see a Due On date for this payment on your Financial Activity page when we process the payment. In the meantime, you can contact your client regarding this issue if you have any questions.
